Monday's Minute of Hate

Via just about every blog and news source I read:

If you haven't heard the story about this guy:

You can just google his name, John Katehis. He's a sixteen-year-old kid who is believed to have murdered George Weber, a radio journalist. The details can be found at The New York Times Web site. Or you can watch one of the videos on You Tube:

So, about the hate part. I honestly don't know where the worst part of this story is. Pedophilia, a kind of disgusting malicious destruction of innocence that pretends to be love? This kid-turned-murderer? His infantile You Tube fans who are cheering on his actions? A society that allows teenagers to hook up with older people on Craig's List for violent sex?

So many questions still surround this incident.  Did Weber know Katehis was only sixteen? Why was Katehis allowed to immerse himself in so much violence without parental involvement? What was the kid after? Was it more than vodka and cocaine? Did he go in there intending to rid the world of a pedophile? The whole thing is sickening.
