Ask A Gay Family

I posted about these guys a while back. And since then they've started a new series called Ask a Gay Family.
If the regular Gay Family Values videos were excellent in representing the qualities of gay families and the inherent lack of honesty in the arguments of the anti-gay-marriage folks, this series promises to bring more positive attention to the truth about gay families. Jay, Bryan, Daniel, and Selena are not only a positive loving family but also a set of role models and an excellent example of what a family should be, gay or otherwise.

Gay Family Values

Have you seen the videos by these guys yet?

They're a married gay couple in California with two kids. I picked the particular video I posted because they're reading a book I used to read to my kids all the time (they're a little old for it these days). If you have a YouTube account you should subscribe to these guys. Their videos are just great. The more people who see their example of a "normal" family who just happen to be gay the better.

Third Gender

Via Current:

This fascinating video is about an intersex person named Adele. She was born with ambiguous genitals. Her parents and doctors chose to make her male. And so she underwent a series of operations to make her physically look like a male. Now, as an adult she identifies as mostly female. She can have an operation to make her genitals more like those of a cisexual woman, but she hopes that eventually the medical profession will allow intersex children to choose their gender for themselves and that society as a whole will accept intersex individuals as what they are.

Before I saw this I had no idea that there are 46 different intersex conditions. I also had no idea that "All angels are intersex, they're hermaphrodite." I'm also pretty amazed at how much she had to fem up to impress upon the doctor the extremity of her situation. It just goes to show that we as a society have a long way to go.

Ex-gay Youtube Kid

Via Joe. My. God.:

On a related note, where are this kid's parents?

First, how does a 12-year-old know for certain that he was gay and now likes girls? Second, why would they let him throw himself to the wolves on Youtube? I can only feel sorry for him.
